Getting Started with AI

Learn the basics of AI, what it can do, and how to start using it with confidence.

What is AI?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a way of getting computers to do tasks that usually need human thinking.

  • Understanding and writing text
  • Recognizing images and voices
  • Making suggestions (like Netflix or Spotify recommendations)

AI learns from large amounts of data. It looks for patterns and then uses those patterns to make predictions or create new content. You already use AI every day without noticing it: in search engines, maps, spam filters, and social media feeds.

ChatGPT is an AI tool that you can talk to in normal language, like you’re messaging a friend. You type a question or request, and ChatGPT replies with text.
